Join our "It Matters" Campaign! Why Northwest Kidney Kids MattersNorthwest Kidney Kids (NWKK) builds a special community of peers, families, and mentors. We prioritize programming that empowers children with kidney conditions to achieve lifelong success. We promote community by sponsoring: youth and family kidney camps, mentorship programs including Young Ambassadors, regular social gatherings, as well as our “Strut Your Kidney – a dash for NWKK”. We offer clinical support to pediatric nephrology offices at Doernbecher and Randall Children’s hospitals including home blood pressure monitors, urine dipsticks, pill boxes, and water bottles to further encourage kidney kids’ health and well being. We embark on the “It Matters” campaign this Fall to allow us to continue our essential mission. The goal of “It Matters” is to celebrate the organizations success, to highlight our mission, and to appeal to the community to solidify our financial foundation. “It Matters” because children with kidney disorders find support and peer relationships in our NWKK community. “It Matters” because parents are heard and welcomed into our NWKK community. “It Matters" because young adults with kidney disorders enthusiastically pass on their wisdom to the younger members of our community. “It Matters” because NWKK employs adult leaders with lived experiences of kidney conditions. Please enjoy a few short testimonials demonstrating the positive impact NWKK has on so many individuals in our community here. We are grateful for your ongoing support because your donation; “It Matters” to Northwest Kidney Kids. -President & NW Kidney Kids Board of Directors |
